JAMBOREE, Ky. (November 9, 2023) – Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post is conducting a death investigation after a deceased individual was located in the Jamboree community of Pike County. KSP Pikeville Post received a call on Wednesday November 01, 2023 at 11:56 a.m. where the caller advised a possible deceased individual had been located.
KSP investigators responded to the area. The initial investigation indicated a deceased person was located along a utility road near State Highway 194 East in the Jamboree community. The body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and identification. The cause of death is under investigation; however, foul play is suspected.
