Trabue Russell House hosted thriving plant swap, share, and sell day

Posted

Last Monday, the Trabue Russell House garden blossomed into a hub of greenery and community spirit as it played host to a Plant Swap, Share, and Sell Day.
Unlike traditional garden gatherings where contributions are expected, this event was an open invitation to all, regardless of their botanical offerings. Novice gardeners could join without feeling the pressure to contribute, while seasoned enthusiasts shared their knowledge and favorite plants, creating an atmosphere of learning.
Among the highlights of the day were the Trabue Russell House’s own offerings, featuring a dazzling array of botanical treasures. From the hues of the Mexican Sunflower to the allure of Cat Mint, the beauty of Solomon Seal, the Spice Bush, and Bearded Iris, there was something to catch every botanical enthusiast’s heart. What’s more, admission to this botanical bonanza was entirely free, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their budget, could partake in the wonder of the plant world without hesitation.
At the end of the event, attendees departed with arms full of newfound greenery, hearts full of inspiration, and a renewed sense of connection to both nature and their fellow gardening enthusiasts.
