Alice Mae Saltmarsh, of Columbia, was born August 14, 1945 in Adams, New York and departed this life on Tuesday, October 24 in Columbia at her home. She was 78 years of age.
She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 22 years and a Home Health Worker.
She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.
She united in marriage to Richard Saltmarsh, who preceded her in death in 1999 along with a sister Barbara Billings in 2019 and a companion to the daughter, Roger Hoke in 2021.
Survivors include a daughter Deanna Patten; a brother-in-law, Phillip Billings; four grandchildren, Matthew Patten and wife Tabatha, Roger Hoke, Jr, Kimberly Clark and husband Ben and Patrick Michael Burns; six great-grandchildren, Luna, Mattie, Raven, Kirra, Michael and Courtney; one great-great grandchild, Asher and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
At the request of the family, cremation was chosen and no formal services will be held.
