Rachel Pike, 87, of Russell Springs, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Russell County Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1936, the daughter of the late Forest and Elzada Streevals Burton.
She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Pike, Cheryl Tarry and Jennifer (Jerry) Grider all of Russell Springs; her daughter-in-law, Anita Pike, Russell Springs; two sisters, Clara Pendleton, Edinberg, Indiana and Irma Dean Piercy, Russell Springs; three brothers, Tony (Janice) Burton, Edinberg, Indiana, Joe (Shirley) Burton, Liberty, Ronald Burton, Columbia; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild also survive.
She was our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and the center of the home and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Arvil “Tim” Pike, two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home in Russell Springs.
Clergy officiating is Bro. Myles Wilson with the Interment at Good Tidings Cemetery.
Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
