Anna Joyce Helm Reeder, 92, of Columbia passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Green Hill Rehab and Care Center in Greensburg. She was born in Jamestown on August 18, 1931 to the late Arthur Raymond Helm Sr. and Lucretia Katherine Sullivan Helm. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Reeder.
Mrs. Reeder attended the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed vegetable gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son Perry Reeder (Sonja) of Columbia; daughter-in-law Deeanna Reeder of Columbia; two grandchildren, Chris Reeder (Windy Spears Reeder) of Columbia and Miranda Cheatham of Greensburg; two great grandchildren, Ashley Reeder and Justin Reeder (Angel); a great great granddaughter, Rylee Lynn Reeder; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Greg Reeder and three siblings Norma Scott, Hildred Baise and Arthur Raymond Helm, Jr.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Brother Robert Adkins officiating and burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers were Justin Reeder, Chris Reeder, Johnny Richard, Jared Denton, Mike Holland and Ashley Reeder.
