Beverly Ann Myers, 72, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Columbia on January 18, 1951 to the late Robert Leland and Virginia ‘Jenny’ Ferguson Grant. She was a member of the Tabernacle Christian Church.

Beverly Myers was the epitome of a matriarch. Her zest for life, love for Jesus and her family were unwavering and unmatched. She could fix any problem with a home-cooked meal or an oatmeal square and could cure any heartache with her infectious smile and distinct laugh. She was known to leave a lipstick stain trail, have popsicles on hand, and loved to read a good bedtime story. She never missed a ballgame, recital, competition, or school function.

There is so much to say, it would take a lifetime to tell all the things Mama Beverly was to so many. You go through life and hear people talk about “a mother’s love” or “a mother’s touch,” and she embodied those things with every ounce of her being and then some. She absolutely lived for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and her spirit will live on for generations to come because of the values she single-handedly instilled in them day in and day out.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Danny Myers of Columbia; two daughters, Shannon Feese and Kelly Robertson (Kevin) both of Columbia; six grandchildren, Malory Burton (Jacob), Macy Chamness (Chris), Madelyn Feese, Graham Robertson, Grant Robertson, and Bryant Robertson all of Columbia; six great-grandchildren Sophie Terry, Knox Burton, Nora Burton, Dani Chamness, Gunnar Chamness, and Myers Burton; two siblings, Ronnie Grant (Jane) of Columbia and Marsha Wayne of Campbellsville; and several other friends and relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jeff Feese, and a sister, Jana Hayes. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral home with Bro. John Davis and Bro. Terry officiating and burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Barry Myers, Chad Myers, Josh Myers, Chris Chamness, Jacob Burton and Ross Grant.
