Jeffrey ‘Jeff’ Costello, 64, of Russell Springs, formerly of Columbia, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Franklin, Indiana on September 5, 1959 to the late Charles William Costello and Velva Bryant Burton who survives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Ann Crockett Costello; and a son, Steven Charles Costello.
Mr. Costello was a member of the Prince of Peace Church and attended Solid Rock Church. He enjoyed collecting coins, mowing yards, driving different places and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his companion, Bonita Nelson of Russell Springs; three children, Jeremy Costello (Samantha) of Russell Springs, Jennifer Bowman (Adam) of Berea and Jeffrey Robert ‘Jr.’ Costello (Stephany) of Russell Springs; 12 grandchildren, Truitt Bowman, Malachi Jude Bowman, Adam Josiah Bowman, Kristin Lynn Campbell, Ian Costello, Aiyana Faith Costello, Charis Bowman, Nehemiah Tate Bowman, Joyhannah Myla Bowman, Olive Cate Bowman, Zelda Estelle Costello, Kaida Jade Costello; three great-grandchildren; two siblings, Robert ‘Robbie’ Campbell of Columbia and Sandy England (Terry) of Edinburgh, Indiana; and a sister-in-law, Tina Costello; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, his wife and his son, he was preceded in death by two siblings, William Charles Costello and Kathy Turner.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral home with Bro. Adam Bowman, Bro. Terry England and Bro. Wayne Keith officiating and burial in the Free Union Cemetery.
Pallbeaers were Kevin Burton, Jesse Durbin, Kyle Loy, Ian Costello, Josiah Bowman and Aaron Campbell.
