Jeffrey Kattus Brown, 66, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at his residence. He was born on September 11, 1957 in Ottawa, Illinois to the late Joseph K. and Wanda Young Brown.
Mr. Brown was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed boating and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Melody Hale Brown of Columbia; his twin daughter and son Jamie Lee Brown and Joshua Kattus Brown both of Tennessee; three step-children, Vincent Schultz of Columbia, Amanda Head (Chris) of Michigan and Christine Schipiour (Chris) of Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; three sisters, Jennifer (Mike) Richner, Jill Eads and Jan Litterly (Jim) all of Illinois; and several other friends and relatives also survive.
Mr. Brown chose cremation and a celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 10, 2023 after 10:00 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
