Joyce Marie Pickett, 81, of Shepherdsville, formerly of Adair County, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 31, 2023.
She was born on September 7, 1941 to the late Clifton and Margaret Poston Moore and a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church.
Joyce leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years, Roger Blake Pickett of Shepherdsville; one son, Clifton Pickett (Bridget) of Shepherdsville; two daugthers, Connie Hatfield (David) of Shepherdsville and Melissa Laytham (Marc) of Mt. Washington; one sister, Pat Reliford (Pete) of Columbia; three grandchildren, Chloe, Blake (Jeanette), Bailey (Levi) and great-grandchild on the way, Easton Bradley; a host of other family and friends.
Fuenral services were held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Shoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial to follow in the Moore Cemetery in Adair County with a graveside service.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
