He was born February 2, 1947 in Adair County and was preceded in death by his father, John Benjamin Brown. Kerry retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville, being a member of United Auto Workers Local 862 and after retirement moved back to Breeding where he enjoyed his farm life. He was a member of Breeding Church and the Adair County Cattleman’s Association.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy England Brown of Breeding; his mother, Maxine Branham Brown of Louisville; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Becky Brown of Mt. Washington; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Anthony Jacobs of Louisville; one sister, Brenda Sanders of Louisville; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Trinity Jacobs; and several other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held Friday, July 14, 2023 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lemmon officiating and burial in Fudge Cemetery. Casket Bearers were Lukas Lemmon, Lakota Lemmon, Justin Brown, Joey Burris, Grant Frazier and Patrick Scott.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Fudge Cemetery would be appreciated and can be left at the funeral home.
