Louie Darrell Loy, 79, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia. He was born on April 1, 1944 in Adair County to the late Broadus Young Loy and Lida McClister Loy. Louie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Jessica Willis (Bradley) of Columbia; two grandchildren, Jaylee and Hunter Willis; two siblings, Bobby Dean Loy (Lila) and Sheila Taylor (Fred) both of Columbia and several niece, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Loy Cemetery. Visitation was held on Tuesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Larry Wisdom will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Bradley Willis, Hunter Willis, Trent Taylor, Tracy Taylor, Tony Loy, and Nathan Bradshaw. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Morrison, Fred Taylor, Bobby Dean Loy, and Bobby Darrell Loy.
