Norma Collins, 67, of Columbia, died Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her home.
She was born August 8, 1956, to the late Hyman Radis Pierce and Mable Geneva Price Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Collins, Jr on September 30, 2023, and her brother, David Pierce. Norma was retired from Fruit of the Loom after 36 years.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law – Janet and Rodney Huckaby of Columbia; one sister, Mary Murphy (Glenn) of Columbia; two grandchildren, Taylor Burton and Remington Huckaby; one great-grandchild Kamree Wilson; special friend Rilda Firkins; several other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Baily officiating with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.
