Oda Pearl Starnes, age 88, of Jamestown, KY passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on Tuesday, June 4, 1935 in Albany, Kentucky.
She was the daughter of Ann Guffey Johnson and Martin Johnson, both preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Guffey, of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sons, Billy Starnes, of Cave City and David Starnes, of Indianapolis; one sister, Nina Mae Stearns, of Albany; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker, loved hats, baking chocolate pies and music. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ronnie Johnson; two sisters, Margie Antle and Lola Antle; and one son, Randall Starnes.
A memorial service was held.
Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
