Susan Ann Nokes, 60, of Columbia, passed from this life on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 23, 1963 in Louisville. She was one of two children born to the union of the late James Willard and Shelby Jean Estes Nokes. Susan graduated from beauty college and worked many jobs throughout her life. She loved being outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. Susan loved flamingos and going to the beach. She had a contagious smile and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her.
Susan is survived by her children, Brandon (Leslie) Nokes of Columbia and Reba Jean (Dustin) Hodson of Atlanta, Texas; her grandchildren, Riley, Maycee, Asher, Ragnar, Ronan ‘Rollo’, Rune and Rurik; her sister, Angie Marie (Allen) Pierce of Campbellsville; a niece, Shelbie Pierce of Bowling Green; and her special companion, Robert Biggerstaff of Columbia.
Per Susan’s wishes, cremation was chosen and no services were scheduled.
